Bought this after my lower back and buttocks would not stop whining at me. No matter what chair I sat on I was in pain almost immediately. My hind end was flaring and telling me that all surfaces were too hard. Since I work remotely and at a desk all day, I was not happy that all my parts were not happy. Bought this seat for another reason. I had to have foot surgery and knew for the first week, I was to not leave my bed except bathroom or meal breaks. Because of the pain, I knew I couldn't just sit up in bed. Thought I'd use this to give me an office chair's support while in bed. It did that. But then when I was once more upright, I decided to try it in my office chair. Game changer for me. Now I've gotten several more people I know to order their own after trying my seat out. Makes every seat more comfortable. Oh, it's not soft my any means, but something about the way it's supporting me makes it not be a pain-point like all other chairs were causing.

The cover fits perfectly but know that there is no cushioning. Its a mesh type cover in the front. I added foam under it. Without the foam it's slightly more comfy. With the foam it's great. I love my Curble! It's truly saved my back after having a cracked rib.

I have sciatic and lower back pain issues. I believe that my time sitting in desk chair contributes to it, as does time sitting in our "comfortable" upholstered chairs in front of the TV. I decided to find something that would support and correct my posture in all chairs. This item seemed to be the perfect solution. When I first sat in it I thought: Ok, a little uncomfortable but it definitely puts my posture in the correct position. I used it for a couple of days in every chair before giving up on it.
I told my wife that it was just too uncomfortable digging into my upper back. She suggested I get a larger size. This IS the largest size, it's sold as the Adult size and is even marked Grand. Intrigued, she - who has never complained of back issues - asked if she could try it. Bingo! She loves it! Very comfortable and she can't wait to use it on an upcoming car trip.
That's the lesson here: The Curble posture seat works, but it's sized for shorter people. I'm 6'2" and could not get comfortable with the upper portion digging into my back; my wife is 5'2" and it fits her perfectly. Go figure.
