Hope it holds up

So far this pan is meeting my expectations. I just hope that it will stand up to a lot of use. In the booklet it warns how all non stick loses the non stick after awhile. I wonder how long it will be? Hopefully awhile. But for the price, a couple of years would be good.
So far, so good. I have a ceramic cooktop and the pan works fine on it. I do try to keep the heat on the lower side as that is what they recommend.
Time will tell.

I have started cooking without oil and decided to try this pan. So glad I did. I need no oil at all. Occasionally I need to add a little water or broth but that's it. Nothing sticks. I just cooked a pan of frozen shredded potatoes and they browned and came out perfectly. I always let the pan heat at medium before cooking and I let the pan cool before I clean. I also don't use anything that could scratch it. Purchasing another one right now and decided to do a review.
Absolutely beautiful so far...will revise if a problem arises sooner than it should, 'though.

I bought two of these after our family bought a sealed glass cooktop range for the first time. Not just because of the range, but because I was overdue for new pans anyway. This is a great size for a family of six, and so far I've been very happy with this pan as far as use and clean-up goes. I don't think I've used it enough to comment on how fast it scratches, but if I see something in the next couple of weeks that seems unusually fast I will revise this comment.
Having a 14-yr-old son who thinks he might be the next Gordon Ramsay means that I am not the only one who'll be using these pans. While I am completely committed to supporting and encouraging his interest in cooking I am typing this with a wince, thinking about my beautiful pans...because (surprise, surprise) he thinks he knows it all already.
My only minor comment about the pan would be that there is not a vent hole in the glass lid, and we've had other similar pans in the past that had lids with this feature. Those pans are long gone, but the lids remain because that is nice to have.
I'll give it another couple weeks of use, and then if I am still happy I'll be buying more Greenlife cookware. Again, not just because of the new range...but because having better cookware does make cooking and cleanup a bit less of a chore--and it's time for some of my grotty old cookware to go.

Just be careful!

I love the size of the pain. It can feel heavy to move around but it is nowhere near as heavy as my cast iron. It seems the ceramic coating can scratch just from other dishes near it after washing! So far the scratch hasn't affected the cooking but it is worrisome as I don't know if the coating will act like teflon does and continue to flake off or deteriorate the pan.
