The rechargeable battery did last one month. Currently recharging it with the cable that was included. Like others stated we really don't know if it's truly sanitizing. I would like to know from the manufacturer, does it matter if the toothbrush is wet or dried off before closing the door ?

At first I thought I couldn't fit my electric toothbrush. But when I re-read the online description that says you can fit any toothbrush, I tried again. You have to really push down hard with the electric toothbrush to fit it in the holder. It's not immediately obvious.
