Very happy with this purchase! This was the only large 12 inch screens I could find at this price. The tvs hold a charge so the kids can keep watching when I turn off car, for example when I'm getting gas and I don't have to hear them whine about the tv turning off. I also like how the tv is set up where you are able to have the tv that holds the dvd on either side of the car (our last TV set was set up where it could only be one certain way and it didn't work well for us). I would recommend this if anyone is looking for well a well priced DVD player/tv for car.

This scree Is a great size. However, the volume is very low, even when all the way up. The screen is hard to view unless you are right in front of it. Makes it difficult if two kids are sharing the viewing in the back seat.

I got these for my 4 kids for road trips and waiting in the car during appointments. They work well, video quality is good, sound could be a little louder, but glad the kids can't blast the volume. They are easy to set up and use. However I think my biggest complaint is that in order to turn them on and off, you have to switch them on the side even though they come with a remote. So you can turn the main one off with the remote but the second one will stay on with blue screen saying no signal so it still uses battery. This was a good purchase.

I purchased these players for a trip. I have a 6- and 2.5- year old. The older one was able to work the remote easily. The buttons on the players are self-explanatory and would be easy to use for kids not buckled into 5-point harness carseats. The picture quality is better on the main screen than the secondary screen. The volume is loud enough to hear over road noise but headphones are preferred for the other passengers. We did not use the battery during the trip. Instead we used the AC adapter in the car the entire time, so I cannot comment on the battery life. Overall, it was worth the purchase and kept my kids entertained.

UPDATE: this has been great entertainment in the car, we have had it for qbout a year or so now. However, a couple months ago it started to all of a sudden stop the movie and say "open" on the careen when it is shut and no one has touched it. I've tried making sure that it's latched all the way, but it still does it. :( . It takes a few minutes before jumping back to "loading" and resuming the movie.
We purchased this dvd player to entertain our 1.5 year old while still having to be rear facing in the back seat! It is perfect for her! It does not skip, it has good volume the remote works from the front when we are driving. It's a little outdated and doesnt play bluetooth discs, but it's perfect for what we bought it for and works well for the price we paid for it! If you want something newer or that plays bluetooth, then spend the extra money on something closer to what you want!
