Once you decide the correct angle to saw the antlers off, you have to properly drill a hole for each antler at the correct angle. The two large screws provided aren't the best quality if you don't drill the holes deep enough because the screw heads may strip with the philips screwdriver. Just take your time and drill as deep as you need for the screw to go in all the way.
It gets harder to turn the screwdriver when near the end so just take your time. When finished, the mount looks good and this saves some money and time if you don't want to do a true European mount. No one looks that close anyhow.

This product works very well and looks great on my mantle. I found assembly to be easy and just had to trim my antlers bases to get a great fit and then drill into bottom of base for included hardware to tighten antlers. This was a easy project with fantastic results.
