This does not make huge batches. We normally make 2-3 batches to fill a bowl. The door hinge came off; so we had to resecure that. Also, you have to wipe out the kettle with paper towel between batches to remove oil/corn residue between batches. I like this for occassional use and would buy again; but if I was using it all the time, would go with a better quality popper.

I had read some reviews and I was skeptical bc of the broken pieces. My first one DID have a huge crack in the door (but it is plastic). However, Amazon customer service is great, and they shipped me out a new one right away. This works awesome and my daughter and her friends (they are 9) use it all the time. It cooks super fast and overall very happy with this purchase.

The popcorn popper is fun to use. It pops very fast and using different flavored oils gives the popcorn differing characteristics. The coating in the cook pot cleans up beautifully. Drawbacks: The hinge pin for the cook pot is near impossible to secure with any ease, the security clip was too difficult to install. (left it out) A better type of pin may be what is used on a "pintle hook" for towing or some other "diaper pin" style. Otherwise I love this popper.

This was easy to assemble and super easy to operate. The only drawback is it is hard to get the oil and popcorn in the hopper without spilling. It pops the popcorn quickly, there were quite a few unpopped kernels, not sure why, maybe I needed to let it pop longer. It is delicious and looks great on my bar area in the bonus room.
