Perfect for beginners

I've played guitar for a long time and could never be more than rhythm. While on a Portishead kick, a friend of mine suggested i was meant to be a bassist lol. I looked up some sheet music and it seemed easy enough to read so i say screw it and bought a little cheap bass. If you're a beginner it's definitely worth it. Especially because you don't want to go and spend $300 on something that will collect dust. The sound isn't too bad. It feels good to hold. Came delivered safely. If you're experienced you will be able to tell that it is a cheap bass. Definitely worth it if you're trying to pick up a new hobby!
The fret ends need to be fixed before anything else.

On the guitar I received, the fret ends were sharp and had to be dressed.
The bass has a good sound. I've ordered new tuners because the ones on it don't hold tune well.
But, if you're new to playing guitar you need to practice tuning your instrument anyway.

t's shockingly good for the price but it's certainly not perfect. The body is super light and the neck is super heavy and kind of.. squared. If you're handy you could shave a lot of weight off of the neck. One of the tone knobs doesn't seem to work but that could be me. Otherwise, it's fun to play and sounds nice if you want a bass to mess with like I did.
I like it alot very light tuned it right up and started jamming on it. I and it came 7 days early.

The media could not be loaded. I'm not a beginner, I'm not necessarily a bassist either, but I've been playing various instruments for 20 years. I play guitar, banjo, cello, ocarina, and I record music as a hobby.
I took this bass out of the box and tuned it up. I got lucky I didn't even have to make any adjustments. No buzzy frets, no sharp fret ends. It sounds good and has both J bass and P bass style pickups. The only minor complaint I have is the neck is just a little catchy but I am just going to rub it with a drywall sponge to smooth out roughness and oil it with some lemon oil. For the money you came beat it. It's low end ibanez quality and the hardware even looks good. Tuners respond well without any slack in them. I fully expected to want to replace hardware on this when it got here but it's great
