it is comfortable I really like the backrest; I have the wired freedom and was worried after I purchased it that i would need a different set up to attach it, but happily it all went together no issues. it is comfortable the narrow part could be a little longer, but it isn't a ride stopper and plus I think you need to break it in just like anything else. I have ridden it once about 7 miles. I think it is made well and should last quite a while. it is kinda like a bucket seat for your bike
