Product was super easy to set up. I needed an easy solution to prevent my dog from jumping off my bed. He is a dachshund who just had back surgery and still thinks he's evil Knievel.
I'm currently using it on my sleep number which sits a little higher than some beds. I just have it wedged between the mattress and the frame but if you wanted to sit more securely you can use the why strap that it came with. You also have the option to screw it in via a bracket that is also supplied with the item.
My favorite feature is that you can slide the guard up and down allowing for easy access to the bed.

It's pretty nice. Our babe kept bumping the top piece that secures two together so we just zip tied them together and then to our bed frame which made the walls much more sturdy. Our bed is now like a giant crib or playpen. I don't think it would be very sturdy with just two and it would not be study at all with just one wall.

Used this as the bottom part on a full size bed to prevent little hands and feet from getting stuck in the slats of the convertible crib to bed. Strong mesh. Lots of height adjustments . The corner piece connects to the long side bed guard which is another brand , which is nice. I just wish the foot piece that screws into the bed slats was a thicker gauge metal and a bit longer, but with a little tweaking and some 1x4's it's got a solid screwed in platform and doesn't move when my little one shakes it standing up.

The recommended dimensions were spot on. Purchased the end of the bed rail after realizing having the sides only helps so much lol. When we purchased the sizes, it came with the corner caps to connect multiple. Unfortunately, I threw them away as I didn't need them at the time. When I purchased this one, it was missing one of the corner caps. Without them, the stability isn't safe at all. However, adding a simple strap to connect them, works fine. I washed them when I first took them out of the box and hung them to dry. Even actuating them every day, and washing them multiple times, they seem to be holding up great! The fabric quality is better than expected. Lastly, the safety. They seem very safe if installed properly. They are quite tight when properly installed and in the full up position. I trust them with my one-year-old standing up against them and shaking them like there's no tomorrow!
My only gripe is they should only be used with a mattress on frame design. We have a mattress on box spring and I had to use 1x6 boards to make a makeshift frame for the rail brackets to screw to. Definitely made installation a little tougher than expected, but nothing a little handy work can't fix. All in all 4 out of 5!
