Reliably Started My Van 5 Months Later

Being left helpless due to a vehicle that refuses to start is an experience I'd rather avoid. I've encountered this issue far too often and decided to seek a solution. My initial choice was the NOCO GP40. Unfortunately, it failed me more than once, including being completely dead when I desperately needed it.
Acting on a Wirecutter recommendation, I decided to switch and purchase the Weego. Best decision ever. Recently, I was in a tight spot when my seldom-used van wouldn't start, and I had an impending appointment. Remembering that I hadn't charged the Weego since its purchase five months prior, I was feeling dread but I still gave it a shot.
Remarkably, the Weego displayed a full charge. Within moments of connecting it, my van roared to life as though its battery had always been fully charged. This was notably impressive, especially when juxtaposed with the NOCO where the car barely started. Thanks to Weego, I made it in time for my appointment.

I had to use this for the first time this morning because my son left the interior light on. It worked! It was easy to use and much faster (and safer) than jumper cables or a trickle charger.

This unit is compact, yet powerful. It holds its charge well. I have used it successfully on my own vehicle (6-cylinder high compression) and that of a friend. I give this product (Weego 44s) my highest recommendation. I think this unit will work fine on small and mid-size V8s, but I also think that a 7-liter engine may be too optimistic (see my comments below).
I do object to the portion of the product page which shows an RV being restarted. Unless the battery of the RV is still holding most of its charge, the 44s will not quite be powerful enough to start a typical RV, which have VERY large gas or mid-size diesel engines. I know from experience that the 44s will only give you one or two cranks on one of these engines -- a 440 ci (7.2L) V8 in my case. If there is a motorhome in your vehicle mix, I suggest you do what I did: buy a Weego 70.

Purchased based on Wirecutter recommendation. The by-pass feature worked well on nearly fully discharged battery. Requires a bit of patience since Weego needs to charge discharged battery a bit before car will turn over. May not turn over immediately as when jump-started from another car. If car doesn't turn over immediately wait 5 minutes and try again.

I bought this in February, knowing that my battery was nearing the end of its normal lifespan. This morning was cold and the battery finally gave out. Pulled the charger out of the trunk where it had been sitting since i bought and charged it, connected to the battery, and a minute later I was back in action.
