Wicked fast and accurate but the cock/de cock sled is cumbersome
Don M.✓ Verified Purchase•July 28, 2023
Now granted I have only sent about 20 bolts down range - fast and accurate w/in an inch from factory scope setting. I upgraded from a BarnettWhitetail 2 for the de cocking ability BUT the difference in noise and speed is unreal. The bow is super quiet, my last bow sounded like a 410 going off in the woods, it was a good deer killing bow but"¦"¦
The cocking/de cock sled seems simple but it may be a bit cumbersome. I am sure this bow will be a deer dropping machine when matched with Muzzy HBX broadheads.

Great Crossbow

****FOLLOW UP/UPDATE
The full bow season is not here yet and less than a month 25 shots, the string cover (black areas), on cables and strings are starting to separate. Smh. Technically it was unsafe for me to open the Disabled bow season with it. So I didn't go. People said I could hunt with it, but it's really not safe. I know the strings go bad, but less than 30 shots and not even consecutively? No, that is unacceptable for a new bow.
It's my first personal crossbow, but I have shot others. Easy assembly. It is averaging 410-412 FPS straight out of the box with Carbon 400 grain arrows (100 gr broadheads). Sighted in at 20 yds, it holds true out to 50 yds (the farthest I could shoot). The scope is excellent, clear, illuminated dots for 10 yard increments out to 60 yds. Easy to draw with the accu-draw, also easy to de-cock with the de-cocker (that is worth it's weight in gold especially for the disabled). It's safety system is awesome. The trigger is crisp. Camo pattern is nice. Can't wait to hunt with it. I will definitely do a follow up review.

This is definitely not a beginner crossbow to begin with. It is for people who have hunting experience and have used crossbows before. I've always used ten point and wicked ridge crossbows and always like them. The scope dots go to 60 yards but I bought a ten point scope that has dots to a hundred yards and it has successfully and lethally killed a deer at 100 yards. The only problems I've had with is was the Decocking system. It didn't work very well and eventually if you started decocking it would start spinning on its own which is not supposed to happen. I contacted ten point and they sent me a new deckocking and cocking system for free. So customer service is great. Overall it's a great crossbow and I highly recommend it.
