The fit is pretty snug as others have noted, but you want that so it doesn't flap and tear.
The secret to getting it on is to find the corner that has a sewn in fabric "handle" and start at the opposite corner first, then do the two other ones next, then the one with the handle last. To get enough slack on the last corner go to the middle of the gazebo (where the top opening is) and pull the fabric towards the last corner. Work from the fabric from the middle to that corner, pulling it about every foot or two as you move to the corner.
The reason I docked it a star is that the mesh on the top panel doesn't attach to the main panel so it's not very neat looking when seen from above. (You can see that from our living room since our backyard slopes down away from the house so the gazebo is effectively one floor lower.) (There are tie downs for the smaller top panel to attach it to the main large panel but nothing for the mesh.). I suspect all of the cheaper non-factory replacements are like this however.
All-in-all this was a good value and would buy it again

It fits great, the only thing I noticed different than the original was these holes all around it, depicted in the images I have uploaded. Not sure what these are for but didn't notice these in the stick photos. Other than that it's great, just hope it doesn't leak thru these.

I like that it has a stretch tab for one of the corners, but I wish I had stretch tabs for all four corners. The ones in the past of lasted three years so I'll be able to gauge the true quality of this three years from now.
