Solved my problem instantly and inexpensively

My 2008 Chevy Impala showed a Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) fault after a tire dealer replaced one of the tire pressure sensors. On previous random occasions I have been able to do a tire position matching procedure, per the Chevy owner's manual, that would correct the fault message, but it was not working this time because of one tire pressure sensor (TPS) not responding in the re-set sequence. Decided to risk the $8 cost and see if this tool would get a set-response from that one TPS along with the other three. IT WORKED - instantly! Fault display extinguished and all TPS positions gave correct pressure readings on the dash display. This probably saved me $200 or $300 for diagnosis and repair at a dealer, maybe more if they goofed it up worse. The tool is seldom needed by an individual, but for the price and convenience I'll hang onto it!

I installed aftermarket sensors, put my suby into relearn with my scanner, did the relearn and drove around for few miles. the light went off. If i have a low tire the light comes on, my car does not have the feature for individula tires. but my scanner does. It just so happened that a few days after the relearn the tire light poped on, i see my rr tire is low. it had a small nail in it. so the sensors worked as designed. my tire is fixed and the light went off after i drove a half mile. perfect
