Sooo much better than normal crutches. If you will be using crutches for more than the typical 6 weeks, these are definitely worth every penny. I switched from regular crutches to these 2 days ago and my wrist and elbow pain is completely gone.

In bought these to help post total knee replacement. I've used crutches several times and these, hands down are the best I have ever used.

I've been using these crutches for 2 months. I've had 4 surgeries to my lower extremities over the past 6 years, so I've spent a lot of time using traditional crutches. Compared to the standard issue, these crutches prevent the constant jarring to the wrists, elbows, and shoulder. Also, I have adjusted them a little short to prevent up and down repetitive motion on the shoulders, so when I walk my arms swing forward and back as they were naturally designed to do. In the past, I've had a lot of soreness in my arms and in my neck while using crutches. I haven't experienced that at all with these new ones. Initially I thought these were some kind of gimmick, but I really wanted black crutches and this was the only viable option for black. Im delighted that they actually work better. As someone else said, they are squeaking and creaking some. Im not going to be able to sneak up on anyone. They're not for ninja crutches.

Buy aftermarket rubber tips. The ones that come with these will unexpectedly wear out and you will slip...trust me.

I did like these crutches, mostly comfortable. Only issue is the bottom is not anti slip and I almost busted my a** while it was raining. If they could replace that and make the handles a little more comfortable and sturdy, these would be five stars. I like the spring.
