directions are terrible but rack appears to be good

The directions were pretty bad but as I started to put it together it became apparent there was only one way it goes together, which made me fill better about the product. I read some of the complaints on this and the wheel holders breaking at the welds is the one that concerns me. I'll make the appropriate changes to make sure I don't lose an EBike on the highway. From my observation the wheel holders are the weakest part of the rack. My EBikes are 52 lbs apiece so that's half the rated weight. The rest of the rack looks to be of good construction but the hollow rolled steal wheel supports concern me and that was verified by some of these reviews. I suppose if they would have use solid rolled steel it would had added about 10 to 15 lbs to the weight of the rack which isn't a bad weight currently. I'll figure out a way to relieve some of the pressure to the wheel holders maybe bungie cords that pull up.

At this price point, I'm quite happy with the performance. It is very sturdy and does the work correctly. I'm towing my e-bike and another 3 mtbs and the bikes can stay quite stably at high speed on the free way.
The part is missing (expected) is some convenient design, such as one action drop-down, easy fold and unfold, easy install uninstall. I know I probably need to pay 3-4 times of the price for those features at the point.
Overall I think it's a reliable budget deal that solves the major use case.

It seems sturdy and well built. the plastic wing nut fasteners could be better quality, they probably won't last being exposed..cheap plastic. Threading for them were jammed up by plastic but was able to run the bolts thru eventually with some work. Diagrams should be clearer to see better where the washers, nylock nuts and spring washers should go. still seems like i should add a few more washers for better metal on metal bolts and nuts. anyway, seems sturdy, and good welds for the price. tough doing comparison shopping but think i made the best choice keeping durability and safety in mind,,keeping it under 250$. yes, it's for e bikes, mine are rated at 50lbs. Not sure about lockability but will add my own..all things are only able to slightly slow down or discourage a snatch-and-run thief. don't trust any locks! Far enough from the bumper on my car and the doors on my utility topper of my truck. folding and tilting option is nice.

First off, customer service is just awesome! At my own fault, I had damaged a part while using and had to contact them for a replacement. They are very quick to respond and send out a replacement part.
For the product itself, it is very easy to assemble with excellent instructions and pictures. I took it across the western part of the country on the back of my RV. It held up perfectly. Has a solid connection that uses a bolt and lock washer to secure it to your 2 inch hitch. This keeps the product from rocking and swaying while connected to your vehicle. Doesn't bang or make noise as you go over bumps. After using it for over 2000k miles on the back of my RV with all kinds of weather, it still has no signs of wear or rust. All the bolts are still tight. For the money, this is fantastic. Highly recommend this rack. I have folding e-bikes with 4 inch fat tires. But, this also fits my standard road bike too. The e-bikes have a low cross bar and the adjusting mounts for that means I can put any bike on this rack. It's just perfect!
