We are dealing with record temperatures in a very humid climate. Days reaching a feels like temp over 110 degrees. We keep the tank full and use the ice packs. I ordered additional ice packs from Amazon. Unit is placed outside of stall door - not in stall. Our horse quickly figured out that cooler air was coming from unit and will go to door to get some relief from heat in afternoon and evenings. Highly recommend this and would purchase again. Very quiet and tank hold a lot of water.

I don't think it lowered the actual temperature of the room but it did make it completely humid. Ran it overnight to cool a room that tends to stay hot and the next day bedding was damp it was so humid. I knew this worked through evaporation but thought with the blower and all the positive reviews it must dry out.
If you like a really humid, sticky environment then this would work. I basically have a really expensive fan because I don't want to use the cooler option now

I order this last week and finally got it on Tuesday. My ac system broke down last month and it took forever to have my landlord got it fixed, perhaps that's because it's getting hotter and hotter in TN. I found this product while I was searching something else on Amazon and I decided to have a try, it surprised me how suitable this cooling fan is for my business it make very low sound while I turn the fastest speed on, and the ice packs is really do the cooling after few minutes of running it .
