I bought these for metal detecting and filming at night with my GoPro. In "high" mode, it shines brightly for a little over an hour before it begins to dim. It still good for another 2 hours just dimmer. If I'm not filming and don't need it so bright, I use the the "low" mode I got about 5 hours before it too started to dim. The red light would be great to use, but it's not bright enough to be useful. I wish manufactures would stop adding the strobe mode, its just an extra step required to turn it off, or switch between brightness modes.
All of that being said, at the price for two, they can't be beat. When one becomes too dim to film, I just switch to the fully charged one. They do exactly what I needed them to do., just wished they lasted a bit longer.

I am an HVAC service technician and I was looking for a headlight that was rechargeable. These are a very affordable and it comes with two of them! This is great for on call days when I can't wait for a single one to charge. No more batteries, saves me money and trips to the store. They also feel quite premium for the price. I do have a couple of gripes though. I wish these lasted longer and that they were a little more comfortable behind the light on the forehead. These things only last me a couple full work days at the lower level brightness. They start to dim very noticeably after that. My disposable battery operated one lasts me a few more days before dimming significantly. All in all they are great for the price I can't complain about that it's $10 a light! My $30 coast headlight feels almost the same in quality.
