I thought I would try this on a whim because Nutrisystem's commercials often state how good the meals are and that you will feel satisfied. Well, the advertisement is true to its word. I enjoyed the meal, shakes, and especially the snacks. If you follow directions to the letter, you will see and feel results. Will be ordering more!

Portions are really really small which is the point to lose the 5 pounds. The food taste great it give yo ya variety of things. I personally dislike the sweet stuff for breakfast but hey, you get what you get. Overall, great meals.

I would have chose other selections but it was a good way to check out the food before I committed to a 2-month program.

This is a good assortment of food to keep you satiated on your journey to lose or control weight. The food comes in color-coded packaging so it's really easy to see what's for breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. You are free to pick what looks good, and no two menu items are the same.
Most are palatable, but some portions are really small, so I ended up supplementing with fruit and veggies.
I liked that everything was color coded and it took the guesswork out of the equasion - you knew what you'd have for breakfast or lunch - which made it easy; yet there was enough options to choose from to keep it fresh and interesting.
I did not care for the shakes and soups at all (the shakes did not taste good and the soups were much too salty).
Overall, this may be a good start if you aren't picky and don't have food allergies (there's quite a few items with common allegergens like nuts, dairy and wheat/gluten in them).

I lost 5 pounds in the initial week as stated it would do for me. The only problem I encountered was too much chocolate, needs more variety.
