I don't live in a climate (Colorado) that is often humid. But this spring/summer was odd and it was very wet and I realized... my home was feeling humid and odors were building up in my bathroom and clothes (hung out) were taking forever to dry. So I did something that I never anticipated needing to do.... I bought a dehumidifier. My main floor was doing okay- especially since it has hardwood and I don't have a ton of fabric (besides the couch and a few blankets.) I put this in my basement (that half is carpeted) and rotated between a bedroom, bathroom and home office. It did wonders and allowed me to feel comfortable in that part of my home again. Looking back I probably could have ordered two but I was being frugal. If humidity was still rearing its head (luckily it's settled down), I would have bought a second one by now. It's affordable, and effective. It does have a sound but nothing that is alarming- more of a white noise and so I really don't notice it. If you're looking for a simple and effective dehumidifier, I recommend this one!

Their customer service team kindly reached out to me after they saw I didn't have the ideal experience and have offered compensation to get another one of their models. I've updated this review to have 4 instead of 3 stars. Happy to bump it up to 5 if this new unit works better (waiting to receive it now)!

Whatever your experience is with the product itself, I'd say you can rely on having a great experience with this seller which in my opinion is just as valuable as the product being purchased!

The product has successfully sucked in moisture the 4 times I've used it...but it didn't suck in nearly as much moisture/humidity in the air as I was hoping.

Maybe my expectations were too high or I got a defective unit, but I used it in my small bathroom with the door closed while running a steaming shower. I get it's not meant to suck up all the steam quickly like a vacuum/bathroom exhaust fan, but it took quite a while after my shower was over to collect a very small puddle of moisture from the air.

I will credit the product's low noise feature. It's not silent, but is a nice low level fan sound that isn't bothersome at all. I can see myself being able to fall asleep with it on. I wouldn't be surprised if it being low level noise and not being as powerful as I'd hoped are connected.

All in all...it's low noise, it does suck up some level of humidity in the air, and the LED lights are a pretty feature (and you can turn it off if you don't want it)...but if you were hoping to have this be an alternative solution to paying a lot to install a bathroom exhaust fan/window like I was, I wouldn't recommend it.

This did a great job at getting my humidity down to wear it needed to be for my lash clients and its super small which is perfect for when I travel to clients.

I purchased 2 of these dehumidifiers after reading the reviews and have been very pleased. They each have 2 light settings and one without the lights. It's quiet and effective. I empty the small reservoir once every 1-2 weeks. A red light indicates when it's full and the unit shuts off automatically. They're small and not super powerful, which is what I wanted for the 2 bathrooms that can get musty and retain dampness. Now my towels get dry faster and don't have the musty smell they used to. I would purchase again at this price point. I would not use for medium or large rooms. A small bedroom or bathroom is the right size for this unit. Mine runs continually without problems.

I needed a dehumidifier for my bedroom in the lower level. I was impressed with this little item. It really is great! Surprised it takes so much MOISTURE out of the room. The best feature is; it has a light show. The colors change ,at night it is also a night light. For the$$$ THIS IS A GREAT DEAL,GREAT PRODUCT! IT IS QUALITY. For older folks that can't pick up any heavy objects, it is feather-light .But the intake holds about 2 cups of water! .Easy to dump, and install .back in place .Also built very sturdy!1O STARS!
