This has to be the strangest purchase for me on Amazon so far. Ordered 4 of these reels and received 4 different reels. The second time around I got the correct reels and now that I've had a opportunity to use them, they are perfect!! Definitely one of the smoothest, easiest reels I have ever owned. Everything about these reels is awesome. I will definitely be getting more of these, in all different sizes.

I do lots of camping trips usually several each month, often along rivers, lakes and near the ocean. I started fishing recently and wanted a high quality fishing reel that would work in both fresh and saltwater.
So far I am really enjoying this fishing reel made by the company Temp. It was easy to spool the line onto the new reel, and so far I've used it multiple times in both fresh and saltwater and its performed perfectly in all conditions.
The retrieval is very smooth and you can really tell how well it is made especially when reeling it in during rough ocean currents.
One tip a local fisherman gave me was to always rinse out the reel with freshwater anytime you are using it in saltwater.

This reel not only looks great but it also feels and performs great as well. The components that make up this reel are over and beyond what I thought I would get for the price point. One thing to note is that the grip on the handle is relatively large and is made of foam. This is not a bad thing it just might come down to personal preference if you like the feel of this reel. Tempo continues to surprise me with their products and I am very excited about this reel.
