I could not get much accuracy/ success out of this product. Intended to use for my stay in Japan to communicate with my wife's family and friends. Words were translated with comical inaccuracies! I had such high hopes. This was for English/ Japanese. Perhaps other languages work better.
Update: the Time Kettle group is sincere in their efforts to help me with these issues. I believe that overall their product is worthwhile and possibly even excellent with regard to other languages

I love the concept. You have a translation that allows verbal feedback which is great rather than having to read translation from the phone.
There is a delay from when you speak to when it comes to the other unit, but instant would have been even more impressive. think Star Trek, but technology has not quite arrived and as I learned from talking to the company the issue is the algorithm is so intense it needs the cloud, thus the importance of a strong internet connection.
In fast wifi it worked decent, but if the wifi slowed down or did not work, it was quite slow and inefficient. Ended up going back to the phone and using google translate. Which is OK, but for a business meeting not quite as smooth as I would hope but they continue to make jumps in the tecnhnology to improve it.
I look forward to new iterations of the device as the technology continues to grow

I was highly skeptical of this device. When I first started using it, I was a bit confused. Once I had it figured out"¦ Bingo! I work in Miami for 90% of the people around me speak Spanish. Many speak only Spanish. I started trying this with every staff member I encountered, and even a few clients. None of us could believe how effective and accurate the translation was. It was almost like having a normal conversation.
