I ordered this set for my three-year-old son to use this upcoming winter (when he will be four). Last year he had a difficult time when trying to play in the snow because he just sunk right in. While it isn't snowing here yet so we couldn't test it out on snow, we did check everything out.

The snowshoes themselves are highly adjustable and easy to get on and off. They fit my little guy just fine (he wears a size 9 Toddler shoe), and sizing-wise they should last for several years. The trekking poles have ribbon handles and several different base options. They disassemble and are also very adjustable to grow with your child.

There is a nice drawstring bag to keep everything in. The bag is just a little too short to completely contain the poles, even when they are disassembled. If it were a few inches longer everything would fit well.

Overall, this is a high-quality, reasonably priced set which is highly adjustable to grow with your child for years of fun trekking in the snow!

Bought these for my 5 year old and they work and function perfectly. Just like a real snowshoe.

I have loved snowshoeing in New England for more than 30 years now. This year, I bought my grandson his first pair for his 6th birthday. He LOVES them. He is kind of an anxious kid when it comes to being in the woods, but these snowshoes took his mind off of worrying about wild animals or getting lost, and empowered him to explore explore explore!!
In the woods behind the house, we now have a trail with sets of named glacial erratics that he loves to climb. The bindings on these shoes are sturdy yet easy to use (I wish my adult set had them!) The plastic toes are tough! He has been "climbing" boulders and not broken any. (see the picture)

If you have youngsters, maybe 5 and up, these are an awesome products for getting them outside in the winter time. Granted I got these about a month ago, so we're not going to get to use them just yet but they fit well and I really like the thought that went into these.

There's a diamond pattern where your child's feet would go and the strap that holds their shoe in is very adjustable. My niece is 5 and has tiny little feet, and these will hold her feet in, no problem.

I also really like the bottom where it has the metal grips for the snow because unlike the ones on my snowshoes, they are not super sharp. I always thought that they didn't need to be on mine and I'm certain that these will still function on ice and snow just fine.

Finally, the trucking pulls that come with these are just about the perfect height. Plus the heads they come with could be used in snow, of course, or in the summertime. So, when we go on hikes in the mountains or valleys, she's able to carry little trekking poles and it's a very cool thing.

Kids, especially the younger ones, love to emulate their parents and their family. Something like this is an excellent opportunity to create a bond with your child and I would highly recommend, if you love getting outdoors, get them these snowshoes.
