I had to get this for my small dog. 15 lbs. She has a sinus infection and after several medications, the Vet said to use a nebulizer every night for her for a month and see if her congestion will clear up. Easy to place in front of a dog crate, and place a plastic bag and beach towel over all of that so that the cloud of gentle steam gets to her nose and sinus. It does not make any noise to frighten a pet either. Hurray!
