not finding additional cars available..otherwise good toy!

This product is great fun to have with a little one. The cars are FAST! They stay on the track no matter the configuration as advertised. And with a little finagling they can climb walls, furniture and just about anything else. They can even go upside down.

I only have a couple of minor issues with the product. First, plan to go through a LOT of batteries or invest in some decent rechargeables. I'd say that you'll be lucky to get an hour of non-stop play out of them before they need to be changed out and, quite honestly, you'll want to change them out before they completely die because the cars struggle with steep hills even before that. The cars also get a little hot after a lengthy play session. Nothing to worry about in terms of safety for your little ones' hands but something to note.

On the other hand, one safety concern you do need to worry about is that the underside of the cars can pinch fingers pretty bad if you aren't careful. There are two sideways wheels that grip the middle portion of the track. It's what keeps the cars from falling off when they go up steep inclines or upside down. Those wheels are plastic and they spin very fast. If you get a finger stuck between them when handling the cars while they're on (turning them around, etc.), it can hurt a bit. I know from experience. I'd say that kids aged 5+ will have no problem understanding this and being careful but you could have problems with younger kids when playing. Just something to be aware of.

You can also combine sets of these to make your tracks longer. One is fairly short. Two is the magic number in my opinion. Our gift recipient actually has four but you don't need that many unless you want to go through multiple rooms.

Overall, great product with just a couple of minor issues to be mindful of. They're definitely a lot of fun.

My kids love it. My adult brothers helped me set it up Christmas Eve (so it was ready to run Christmas morning) and even they thought it was awesome and had fun playing and making new tracks. Works as advertised except the cars' battery life seems really short. Like 30 mins. And the cars are not lasting well. Even with new batteries, 2 of the 3 cars have slowed down tremendously - granted, my kids have definitely dropped them. But still frustrated they aren't lasting better. Wish there was a way to buy the cars alone. I was offered a small gift card for giving 5 stars. (If not I probably would give the track 5 stars and the cars 2 stars).

We bought one and worked so good we bought another one. My kids love it.

Great idea for a short term attention span. Very hard to assemble. Fingers get sore putting track pieces together. The track is very short so I would advise buying more then one and combining them. The picture is misleading, making you think there are 2 cars but it's one with an interchangeable top. The car does stay on the track and fun to put it in different locations.
