So far, this product has wowed us. It's remarkable to see how much moisture we've been living with in our daylight basement that's around 1,350 square feet. There's two bedrooms attaching to a large, carpeted living area, along with a full bath. The dehumidifier is effective at pulling moisture from every room - a difference we can feel by air movement in each room - and zero dampness now. Once a day we empty the water collection bucket that's full to the top. That really shocked us. It's surprising how much unseen dampness we've been living with and equally surprising it hasn't caused health issues.

Since we just got this product, can't speak to the longevity of it; however, it seems very well built. From my research, it has one of the top warranties of its competitors, so we didn't feel compelled to pay for an extended warranty. That saved some dough - a definite plus. Time will tell if the unit holds up.

Set-up is easy, and controls are intuitive. It's very quiet - hardly noticeable from bedrooms attaching to the family room where it sits. Air coming from the fan isn't noticeably warmer than the room. Wheels make it easy to maneuver even on carpet. A sticker on the handle up top didn't peel off well so you may need to use common rubbing alcohol to get residue off. Worked for us. Emptying the bucket is simple enough. Auto shut-off worked perfectly when it was full - a nice failsafe - but we've started dumping it every morning. In our case, 24 hours seems to be the timeline to a full bucket.

All said and done, we would definitely recommend this dehumidifier and seller. It came well packed by the manufacturer and Amazon, and on time. Everything was as advertised, and the price very competitive. The welcome packet in the box has simple, easy to follow instructions, a nice letter from the Vellgoo team, and instructions to extend your warranty an additional year. Note: You will see a recommendation to sit the unit upright for 24 hours before first use. I'm not sure why that's necessary but yeah, I did as it said. Guessing it has freon or some other gas/liquid inside that needs to settle before use.

This was a great buy for me. I like the rectangular shape, size, reasonable weight, handle, wheels, and drainage options. Filter access is easy. The unit ships with the drainage tube and a coupling to attach the included tube to a garden hose if you need it. The product arrived well packed in a bag with foam cushioning top and bottom, loose parts are bagged/covered. Plastic strapping holds it all together.
The box is closed with tamper indicating tape. Great.

Full size instructions in English, no squinting! The one year warranty is extended by another year if you register. Directions to contact the manufacturer if you have a problem/question are everywhere: in the instruction bag and on the dehumidifier. Adhesive labeling on the dehumidifier have little tabs to make removal easy if you want. Who thinks about such details... a manufacturer who is thinking about the consumer. ðŸ‘ðŸ½

In my location, I found this dehumidifier MUCH quieter than any dehumidifier that I have ever had at all fan speeds. For myself, I would not hesitate to use this dehumidifier in any room.

When turned on the first time, room humidity read about 68% at 75F. In an hour, the humidity dropped from 68 to 58%.

I am directly draining into a sink. If you cannot drain directly, and have a lot of humidity, you might want to consider whether emptying the bucket will be a nuisance. The bucket is not the largest available. The bucket handle works well. The bucket should last for years, but it is not the most impressive component.

The absence of "electronic"/remote and fancy programs/scheduling do-dads etc -- is okay for me. I just want it to run for years. I will definitely check into this dehumidifier brand, if I ever need another one.

Over the last 5 years I have gone through six Toshiba dehumidifiers in my house I have always had to keep them in the basement because of how loud they are and out of nowhere I'll start seeing moisture on all my windows because the compressor just stopped working so I decided to try something new I have had this product for just over a week now and I cannot believe how well it is controlling the moisture in my house not to mention how quite it is I have a 1300 square foot basement in a 1600 square foot first floor and this little bad boy has been able to manage the humidity in the entire house

I recently moved into a larger house in the country with a massive basement and was in need of a dehumidifier to keep my guns from rusting. So I hopped on Amazon and found this baby and decided after doing tons of research to give it a try. I am thrilled that I did. It's worth every penny. It literally brings the humidity from 70 to 80 down to 50 within a matter of hours and takes gallons of water out of the air every couple hours. You cannot beat the quality of this product. I know it's Chinese made and I usually steer clear of that But this is the one time. I'm glad I went with this brand because it is a quality product rated by energy star that does exactly what it says it does. I would even argue that it works better than expected or than I have read about. If you're on the fence about this I would say do it. It is a great investment and is worth every penny. Overall. I give it 5 out of 5 stars and would recommend to My closest friends and family.

Hurricane Ian flooded my condo almost a year ago. Two days after the storm the contractors came into my home with a huge dehumidifier to help begin the dryout process. That huge contraption sat in my home for sometime and then it was needed elsewhere. As the workers tore out walls and floors I became concerned as I noticed that, months later, there was still water in my home under the flooring they ripped up and the walls they took down. So I began doing some research into dehumidifiers so I could have my own. I settled on this one as it has a hose that I could run into the shower to get rid of moisture that way instead of constantly emptying a bucket. So there this little beauty sat. It ran 24/7 for months drying out the moisture that was being undercovered as my condo was being demolished and rebuilt. My place is finally almost done and I know that this machine saved me from lots of mold. Finally after thousands of hours of quiet, amazing service it stopped. Some electronic glitch. The dreaded E1 that I couldn't clear. I had purchased extra coverage for it so I called Amazon who directed me to the manufacturer as it hadn't been a year since my purchase. To make a story that's becoming long short- they immediately sent a brand new replacement. No cost. Friendly people. My home is nice and dry and it will continue to stay that way in Florida's humidity with this quiet little machine. If I could give it ten stars I would.
