Great hot dog roller, came quickly works great

So this hot dog machine is flimsy. The first one came broken so I sent it back and received another one. I read a lot of reviews about this rollin dog machine. One stood out a lady said don't man handle. Leave the lid up while in use and basically step by step instructions. Plus her do's and dont's. I payed attention. I Love this machine. My favorite dog is with smoked sausage links. And 4 buns fit perfectly on the bottom tray. And it does need to be cleaned while still warm while the rollers are still rolling. So much easier. Very simple to use. Love this lil flimsy machine.

I mean, there's only a thousand warning labels telling you that while you're cooking, the top lid has to stay open, but apparently several reviewers have missed the thousand labels. This thing is super cheap, but it works. It cooks hot dogs very quickly and it's actually pretty quick and easy to clean with just some mild soapy water and a cloth. I didn't have any problems with warped trays or anything like that. Apparently I'm not grabbing the door with 60 lbs of force when I open it. Definitely run it for 10 minutes before you use it because the smoke on the bottom element for the buns is horrible on the initial burn off. After the smoke is gone, it never returns. Just remember. This thing is super super cheap, but it does actually work. Just follow the instructions, keep it clean, and don't man handle it to death, and it'll work just fine. It definitely beats getting out the gas grill in the snow. And cooking a hot dog in water... please.

The only mild complaint I have is that the timer dial is what turns on the heating elements. If you want the heat to stop, your best bet is to unplug it. Trying to force the dial back to zero seems like it would be an instant break. It clearly does not want to move any faster than it's going to move on its own, and I'm not going to force it. Just remember, if the timers ticking, the heating element is on and if there's no food on the top rollers, they're going to start smoking very quickly.

nice little machine. it cooked the dogs slowly, took 30 to 40 minutes to cook large thick sausages but at least it does not burn them. you set the timer and go about your business. it is not easy to clean though. i use a mild to medium lightly dampened SMALL piece of scotch brite square with little dish soap. and that cleans the round cooking tubes quickly without hurting the stainless steel. every so often i turn on the motor which turns the rollers around so i can clean all the sides. as long as you dont turn on the timer, the rollers will not get hot. the drip pan is a really good thing, it keeps grease or drippings in one place easy to remove the pan and clean that part. that clear plastic lid MUST be kept open because those round cooking tubes put out a ton of heat and they will WARP that clear plastic lid if you leave it closed over the cooking hot dogs. they should of made that lid metal. nice thing is it cooks slowly so there is not much if any grease splatter from the cooking hot dogd. but being able to close the lid would aid in cooking the weiners faster plus stop ANY splatter from happening. i guess any splatter would depend on what susage or hot dogs your cooking. i actually had no splatter occuring
