Hi my name is Veronica I am a filmmaker and and I using the Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver 4K, TIMBOOTECH Streaming Media Video. I have used it only two times for two shoots and it works pretty good. Something I do have to complain about is the adde wires, which is not really the best look. but over all its doing its job and doing a great job at that.

I was looking for a way to connect my Sony ZV-E10 to a new 24" monitor for when I shoot tabletop videos. It's nice to not rely on the camera's little LCD for framing and even focus. I really dislike the camera's micro-HDMI port and thought it I could eliminate the cables, I'd have a cleaner desktop setup.

I hooked up the camera and the receiver almost before I could unfold the instructions... I had a live picture from the Sony on the monitor, I was shocked!!!

It seemed to give nice clean picture wirelessly... amazing. It's when I recorded a clip and then switched the camera from record to play... the screen went black and didn't come back. Was then not able to switch back to record mode at that point and had to turn the camera off and then restart.

I'm guessing there's some additional protocol / voodoo that goes on in the camera's circuitry that wasn't compatible with this wireless setup. Still, if I just needed a more conventional setup, like playing videos from an HDMI source such as a computer to a large screen and didn't want to mess with wires, this little rig is kind of cool! Even though I returned it, I'd very much recommend this setup for more conventional needs.

I'm now back to an all wired camera setup, and the thin HDMI cable I bought here on Amazon seems great (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09X2N6LNB), for other situations I can see people loving this TIMBOOTECH wireless rig.

I bought this wireless HDMI transmitter so our little kitchen TV could have the same program as the family room, without my needing another cable box.

This is a fabulous device for this purpose. BUT I had to knock it down to a 4 rating because of difficulty of installation. The issue with this, as with a lot of electronic devices is that the instruction sheet, which repeats the same info in many languages, is printed so small that necessary facts are very hard to read.

And they also leave out too many details to make the sheet as small as possible. Finally, the person writing the instructions is not (in my case) a native English speaker, so some wording is not quite right.

I understand that printing very complete instructions and trouble shooting tips in all languages would require a lot of expense. So what they should have included is a very legible page directing users to a web page having fully details instructions.

Back to the product, once I got past the confusing pairing instructions, this thing works great - sending perfect picture and sound some 30 ft. and through two cabinets from my cable box to TV.

Not only did this transmitter come on time. This transmitter was easy to install it worked perfectly with what we was trying to do. We needed this for our church online service and we hooked it up to the projector to stream songs. This was absolutely the best price and the best product that we took a chance on. We are in the process of purchasing more of these for our other sound equipment. If you are in doubt please read this review and purchase it. We didn't or hasn't had any issues with the range or it being disconnected from the projection screen .
