This was easy to stick to the curtain rod, and now the curtains just shoot across the rod when you pull them. I have VERY heavy curtains- they reach floor to ceiling and are thick on their own plus a heavy blackout layer behind them. They are a beast to open and close! I bought this tape to see if it made it easier, and it did seem to work at first, but over time the weight of the curtains seems to have deformed the tape a bit and they have gotten harder again... Not as bad as before, but it is still disappointing. I recommend this tape if you have lighter weight curtains!

I found this product by accident - in fact I did not even know these were an option in my shower curtain battle - but now I know, I love this so much. I have a really hard to fit curved and broad shower curtain tension rod, and my curtain was constantly hitching and requiring me to move the hooks one by one with lots of yanks. I followed the instructions - wipe well with included alcohol wipe, let dry fully, apply firmly to the top surface after getting the rod fixed in place. My shower curtain now glides, and even flies with a fast yank. Please please try before resigning yourself to curtain battles!
