We got these for our kids mainly for long road trips, which we take several times a year. They come with headphones so we don't have to hear the shows and the kids are able to watch separate shows if they want or we can connect them and play the same movie on both TVs. The disc loads from the top, which was a big selling point for us. We've had them for a few months now and haven't had any issues. One remote works for both units, so just point it at the one you want. We will buy these again when our infant is old enough for his own as they will plug into the back seat of our car.

We bought a new van that did not come with a TV/DVD player. It was going to cost thousands of dollars to get one added. When I found these we were so happy. This past summer we went on a 17 day west trip. We knew the kids would be bored since most places did not have cell service, so these were perfect! We took these TV/DVD players and many of their favorite DVDs and they were happy the whole trip. We were happy to learn that the plug to charge them in the car was dual. Our new car only came with one place to use those kind of chargers, so that was great. The players easily disconnect from the seats with a push of buttons on the back. The backs fold flat and can be easily adjusted up and down. We took the players out of the van at night. My kids could disconnect them and fold them with ease. We purchased a case to put them in to take them easily back and forth between the hotel and van. The earphones also fold flat for easily travel. These players were PERFECT for our trip and kept everyone happy! We love them!
