Before I had the jerky done, I was taking ground beef and rolling it out by hand between two sheets of parchment paper, using a small, rolling pin. Now I mix up my ground, beef and spices slide it down into the jerky gun select the nozzle that will make the shape of jerky I want and start squeezing. I fill up my dehydrator faster than I've ever done it before. If you make a lot of jerky, you're gonna want this because it will save you tons of time. It's easy to use easy to clean it feels sturdy in my hand. All metal construction is fantastic, I highly recommend you do it
