Great for Backyards or Indoors, but Not Portable

While this screen is extremely lightweight, this isn't exactly a portable screen. It's because it's quite difficult to assemble, especially if you're going to be assembling it alone. It's a wrestling match to get the frame put together. The last angle bracket took me 20 minutes to wiggle into place and before that, I disassembled and reassembled parts of it to see if I could find a way to fit the corners together without resorting to brute force.
Nope. Brute force it was and it took quite a bit.
It's also not going to stand up to repeated setup and takedown, but it'd be a bit much to expect anything this inexpensive to be both a very good basic screen and as durable a professional kit. For the price, it's an amazingly good piece of equipment so long as you can live with its shortcomings.
I'm returning mine because the particular flaws in this rather surprisingly good inexpensive screen make it very hard for me to use it for its intended purpose. I wanted a pop-up screen for presentations and something this physical to setup is just not going to fly. I also misjudged how large it would be. I only need something about half this size so if you're also seeing this as a possible presentation board, break out a tape measure first!

For what I paid, I thought it was going to be cheap, but it's not bad. The screen is tight on the frame, almost too tight. It tends to 'bow', so it takes some gentle handling to make/keep it straight. That said, the frame isn't that sturdy. To assemble you have to screw the pieces of 'pipe' together. I think it was six? on the top and bottom and five? on the sides, and with the addition of the feet. If you don't have these tight enough, you have problems with the screen.
With our first use we used the feet and anchors, but found it too low for the three of us so the next time we hung it from the side of the shed, (removing the feet, as we did with the sheet we were using,) and that made it much better. I only wish it had places to use hooks, but bungy cords on the top corners and a clip/bungy combo in the middle keeps it centered and high enough for the picture to look right.
But I have noticed a stain on the screen, but I think it was from a bug... Will try to clean and hope it comes out, or does not make it worse.

We returned it because it was too big for the space! It's very big! We need one 1/2 this size. Good value if you have the space!
