Bought this to clean area of hardened thinset before grouting between mosaic tiles, a 1/16" width. They bend if you scrape too hard. Recommend buying similar tools in hardware area. Unfortunately, those tools are slightly wider than these. These do fit in 1/16" groove without damaging tiles. If you have previously softened grout and thinset with sulfamic acid these will remove it ok. I just got impatient. (My contractor idiot did not clean the mortar before it set, thank you.)
