I did not expect these to fit my dog as she is extraordinarily small and everything is always too big on her. Although we have not yet had an occasion to make her wear one I did check the size and it is going to fit perfectly when it is time to put one on her. The items are very durable and may not be all that comfortable for her to wear but they will protect innocent groomers from being bitten which is the reason I bought them! Hopefully, she will learn quickly why she has to wear them and she will become less snappy, but until she can be trusted they are the only option to protect her from serious consequences from biting someone without cause.

This item is a must- have when i'm grooming a chihuahua with a bad attitude! Safety is important and sometimes muzzles are the only solution to get the job done.
I don't love the little plastic pieces that are adjustable and latch together around the dogs head. Be super careful when adjusting for size or you may never get the plastic latch back on the muzzle. Had to throw one out after frustrating attempt to reattach. Luckily i bought a 2-pack.
