I bought this to use as a non-carb baking ingredient, instead of using cornstarch as a thickener. I saw that it was sourced from beef but that is not a problem for me as I don't practice a vegan lifestyle. Haven't used yet but the beef flavoring was a little questionable for me, but I couldn't find a different product that had no flavor (?). I think, when baking that the other ingredients would over power any beef flavor, I hope! Weird product question- use it for pain relief? Nope, just as a baking thickening agent!
