• •The Iconic Kentucky Bourbon Ball, was created by two substitute school teachers, Ruth Hanley Booe and Rebecca Gooch in 1919. In an era that did not encourage women to start and build a business, they faced many obstacles gaining them both support and ridicule. It was another year, 1920, before either of the founders were given the right to vote.
• •Both ladies exhibited a great deal of imagination and nerve, stopping people on the street to extoll the virtues of their new candy. Over time the company became successful and is now owned by Ruth Booe's 4th generation dedicated to the same quality as the original.
• •For over 100 years Rebecca Ruth Bourbon Balls have been the standard by which others are measured. The creamy center of these candies are made with Evan Williams 100 proof (maximum 5% by law), covered in chocolate, and crowned with a pecan half.
• •We offer three different sizes, 16 oz. box of 32 pieces, 8 oz. box containing 16 pieces and a 2 oz. box with 4 pieces.

• •During the Summer Months we add ice packs to every order to help against warmer temperatures. Our prices reflect the additional packaging. Chocolates are sent Monday-Wednesday to reduce warehouse time.
