I don't normally write reviews but the Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver 4K is an excellent product. I use it in a large classroom lab along with Zoom web conferencing. I use this with a laptop and docking station (2 hdmi ports). I purchased two sets for two large interactive Promethean display panels/tvs. Both work simultaneously without issue or having to reset pairing. My only real issue is confusing the transmitter and receiver connections from time to time. A minor issue is making sure they have enough power. Not every USB port supplies enough power so you may need to plug into a USB charger with 5V-2A output. Power is the first thing to check if not working properly. All in all these are good quality with low latency and just work without having cables to trip over.

I was skeptical that this would be 100% plug-and-play, but it is! I plugged one part into my computer, the second part into a TV, and bam, it worked! No configuration necessary. I saw a review on here that said that the USB needs to be plugged into the same device as the HDMI, and that's not true. I tested that specifically. The USB just needs some power source. I was even able to use it plugging the USB into a battery pack used for charging a phone.

I was looking for a way to connect my Sony ZV-E10 to a new 24" monitor for when I shoot tabletop videos. It's nice to not rely on the camera's little LCD for framing and even focus. I really dislike the camera's micro-HDMI port and thought it I could eliminate the cables, I'd have a cleaner desktop setup.

I hooked up the camera and the receiver almost before I could unfold the instructions... I had a live picture from the Sony on the monitor, I was shocked!!!

It seemed to give nice clean picture wirelessly... amazing. It's when I recorded a clip and then switched the camera from record to play... the screen went black and didn't come back. Was then not able to switch back to record mode at that point and had to turn the camera off and then restart.

I'm guessing there's some additional protocol / voodoo that goes on in the camera's circuitry that wasn't compatible with this wireless setup. Still, if I just needed a more conventional setup, like playing videos from an HDMI source such as a computer to a large screen and didn't want to mess with wires, this little rig is kind of cool! Even though I returned it, I'd very much recommend this setup for more conventional needs.

I'm now back to an all wired camera setup, and the thin HDMI cable I bought here on Amazon seems great (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09X2N6LNB), for other situations I can see people loving this TIMBOOTECH wireless rig.
