Our good jack recently broke so I ordered this one and when it came my husband was instantly disappointed because in his words "scissor Jack's suck" lol
So he was very suprised to find that he loved this jack.
He used to to jack the car up and change his calipers and he said he loved everything about it and loved that he could plug it right into the cigarette lighter outlet in the car.
I will say that if your car isn't on it does work but not that well. The electric part works at full power only if you start your car but that's not that big of a deal.
Overall it's great quality, contact and easy to carry in your car, and works much better than scissor Jack's apparently normally do
