Atticus Torocity Herbicide (8oz) - (Compare to Tenacity) - Mesotrione Concentrate - Selective Weed Killer for Lawns and Turf Grasses - Pre and Post Emergent Control

Key features
- •TRUSTED PERFORMER: Torocity contains 40.0% mesotrione; the same active ingredient as the leading brand. For more than 20 years, mesotrione has been the trusted choice for effective weed control in newly seeded areas as well as established turf.
- •FLEXIBLE APPLICATION TIMING: This double-hitter herbicide allows timing forgiveness with both pre- and post-emerge activity. Compared to pre-emerge only herbicides, Torocity widens the application window so you can stop new weeds before they start and take down the weeds you already have.
- •BROAD-SPECTRUM WEED CONTROL: Torocity delivers powerful control of many broadleaf and grassy weeds, including crabgrass, ground ivy (creeping charlie), clover, oxalis, and dandelion.
- •IDEAL TURF RENOVATION PARTNER: Torocity is one of the few herbicides labeled for just-seeded Kentucky bluegrass, tall fescue, perennial ryegrass, and centipedegrass. Apply before seed germination to prevent weed competition and encourage new grass growth. Torocity may be used on new seedings, grass grown for sod, and established turf. Do not apply to certain species, including bentgrass, zoysiagrass, and actively growing Bermudagrass. See label for complete list of tolerant turfgrass species.
- •EASY-MEASURE TOOL INCLUDED: We took out the guesswork so you get the right rate – easily. Our pre-marked syringe highlights the exact amount of product needed per gallon of water. Torocity is activated by water, if rainfall doesn't occur within 10 days of application, water the area with 0.15 inches of water.
- •RESTRICTIONS: NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE IN ALASKA, ARIZONA, CALIFORNIA, OR HAWAII. Always read and follow label instructions. Not all products are registered for use in every state.

I purchased this product to get rid of some very invasive creeping charlie or ground ivy as it is called.
So far it has certainly done the job. Took a little patience to watch it work as it takes a while before it turns things white and kills it.
Creeping charlie was stunting the growth of my berry plants a couple of years ago and I had been fighting this weed for a while. Took care of some other weeds along the way. Great product

I had a number of broadleaf weeds including creeping charlie (ground ivy) , after spraying the weeds, some appeared to be dying where as the creeping charlie appeared to not being affected but by the third week, I was happy to see it disappear.
Works on my centipede grass

Did one application and accidentally watered in without reading. Reapplied a week later and within a few days the first sections started turning white. Reapplied again a week later, and another week later this is the result. Targeting the crab grass infestation in my lawn and happy with the result.
This stuff is amazing

Portions of my mostly Centipede grass lawn were being overrun by crabgrass, spurge, and some kind of thin grassy-like weed that grows in bunches (I thought perhaps it was poa annua, but that supposedly dies off in the Summer, and this stuff definitely wasn't). I tried some lawn-safe weed killers from the big box store, but these did not help much (seemed to affect the spurge a bit, but the other weeds laughed at it).
It got to the point where I was out on my hands and knees trying to manually dig out all these weeds (while also trying not to dig out the good grass that was interspersed), but I really felt like I was fighting an impossible and losing battle. Stumbled on to Tenacity (and this generic equivalent, Torocity), and the results have been astounding. After several rounds of applications over the course of a month or so, I'm finally getting an upper hand on fighting these weeds.
The only downside is that it's not an instant kill, takes a few weeks. And before dying, the weeds turn white (about 5 days after application), which can look a bit funky in the yard. But saving me from many seemingly pointless hours digging up these weeds from the yard, it's worth it.
Edit (about two months later): the crabgrass is completely gone, and good grass (again, of which there was a little bit scattered among the crabgrass) has filled in nicely. One small issue to note is that the markings on the syringe did not last very long... I suggest taking a knife and lightly carving in a notch at each increment (or just the one that you typically use for the size of your sprayer).

This is great

Works amazingly well. Takes a while to work and if weeds are thick it may take a few apps bit love it.
Kills crabgrass, ivy, strawberry and some other weeds that look like grass.
