I'm like everyone else. I'm so tired of soft lead battery terminals I wanted something to last and continue to work. Even better, flipping a lever lets me adjust tension on the battery post by turning the knob slightly. I've been known to in a "why won't it start" emergency put in a wood screw! Looking at both copper and brass terminals I kept thinking "hmm ... steel allen-head cap screws in soft copper?" Brass is a lot more able to hold threads, and it's just copper alloyed to make it harder. So I chose brass. These things are beautifully made. Changing from the lead to brass is easy as taking off the old terminal (wear gloves ... you know ... LEAD), cleaning or clipping off too degraded cable and tightening the cable into the new brass clamp. I'll use dielectric grease to protect wires from water. I'm going to change every vehicle I own to these!

They were made well and I expect they'll hold up for years to come! It's great to have extra connection points for accessories! And best of all you don't need a wrench to tighten or loosen them. They installed in minutes and they got a good coat of terminal protection. Bought another set just to have if any of my other vehicles ever need replacement.

Installed in my 2005 Honda Odyssey Touring at 261k miles. The original positive terminal had become warped and was no longer making consistent contact w/ the battery.
These were easy to install. The design is intuitive and able to accommodate my needs.
The Allen head bolts are unfortunate, but necessary in order to keep tool clearances low.
I don't like that the Allens have no lock feature. I had some concern they could back out over time. I'll update if that's the case. I would've preferred a bit of pre-applied Loctite.
