We use these two jars to keep some very "smelly stuff" inside them. Usually the stuff we keep inside of these jars is enough to get the whole house smelling like it, but when we put said stuff in these jars, then the odor is gone! These jars also keep our "stuff" fresh and so far there's been no degradation to the product that we've kept inside these jars.
These jars are on the big side and they can fit a lot of stuff inside them. For the price, you're getting a bargain, as similar sized jars go for this price individually -- but with this pack, you're getting TWO jars for the price of one essentially. I definitely recommend these!

These are beautiful jars. They were packaged well, bottom jar was wrapped in bubble wrap and the lid was fixed into a cardboard top, in a box, then inside another box (I love fragile items packaged in boxes inside boxes) with plenty of air cushions. They have nice weight and not fragile. The only thing I would knock a point off is that it is not sealed with rubber, just some plastic thingy which on some have holes and are uneven - seems like an afterthought. But when I did remove the lid it made a little exhaust sound so that is a good sign. It is removable though so you can wash it (I hand washed mine). The lid is also heavy so it all feels really expensive. The opening is wide enough that I can put my hand through with no force. Just be careful if you do hand wash because it gets quite slippery. I plan to store pasta and dog treats in mine. It doesn't necessarily have to stay in the kitchen; if you have a lot of little odds and ends I would consider using it. It would also make for a nice vase - endless uses!!
