When i first got into PC gaming, this was the first headset I purchased because it was cheapest at best buy at the time. Since then, my dog chewed the wire so i needed a new one. I regrettably spent loads on new headsets. I've tried the razer kraken with the USB plugin and illuminated snakes logo, and that headset was the worst i ever tried and was heavy. Then i tried the hyperx cloud and couldn't hear ANY footsteps so went back to razer thinking maybe its the brand with the razer black shark v2 and although the Mic was better, I just couldn't get the same audio output as the ultralight. Being a competitive COD and Fortnite player, I need to be able to hear my surroundings. I realized the razer kaken x ultralight was the best headset i ever owned so i had to repurchase it. Music doesn't sound as good as some of the others but if you're a competitive gamer, THIS IS THE ONE. my teammates can still hear me clearly, they can just tell the mic isn't the best out of all the headsets i've used with them. but the footsteps and 360 audio is perfect. Better than all headsets i've tried. And since it's so light i didnt realize head fatigue was a thing until my first set broke and i tried all those heavier headsets. every headset except this one makes my head and ears hurt, and i know i wont get that ugly head dent like Nickmercs and all the gamers get with those bulky headsets.

I love how light they are, the audio quality, the price. The only reason I took a star off is because my husband has spinal surgery and anything causes pain on his neck, these are good for a while so when I saw a different brand at Walmart and held it I was amazed on how light they where but that's not the only reason, for me these are perfect but unlike those I mentioned before that have fabric earmuffs instead of whatever this material is and they make my ears get so hot and sweat.

I bought this product for casual gaming every few nights, and for the very reasonable price, I am extremely happy. True to the description, these headphones are super lightweight, and I have had no issues thus far with discomfort on my ears or side of head. The sound quality is good, as well as audio between a party chat. The mute button is easy to access, as well as the volume knob, and I like the 90 degree turn at the aux connection, so the cord goes down inside of straight towards me. Durability is good for the few weeks I have used them. The only downside for some buyers may be the noise cancelling. Due to their super lightweight feel, they fit great but the noise cancelling is not incredible by any means. I actually prefer this because I can still hear some of my surroundings while playing at a high volume, but if you want to completely block out sound you simply have to crank the sound. Otherwise, I am happy with this purchase, and would recommend this headset to anybody.
Needs work cosmetically.

These headphones are great for gaming. They are light-weight, the sound is immersive and everyone can hear me clearly. My only issue is the fabric is coming apart after owning them for a little over two months. I only wear these on weekends, and I've had to repeatedly tuck the fabric back in. This happened for the first time after a few weeks of use. This is the only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five.
