Caught this on sale and considered it a backup for the two I have in my bedroom and living room. Imagine my surprise when I unpacked it only to find the install kit included a third panel, enabling use in a sliding window! Then came a nasty humid hot spell, so I installed it in my dining room slider. It did a good job, considering, and didn't piddle on the floor like my other portable a/c. I wish portables were easier to drain, the spout being so close to the floor it's difficult to have a decent sized container to collect the water. The front display is quite large, easy to read, yet may not be the best in a bedroom.

My title is kinda a play on their slogan. So I have a room in my house that the a/c just doesn't cool very well. So after a year of just running, at times, 3 fans in the room I went ahead and bought one of these units. I opted for the cooling only version. It arrived super fast. We set it up and waitinged till the next morning to plug it in. After setting the temp m it went to work and the room felt absolutely amazing. The next day I went into the room to watch a movie and it was warm again...what the heck? No matter what I did, I couldn't get it to blow cold again.
I emailed their customer service and without question they said they'd send me another unit at no cost since it is under a one year warranty. I got the email reply from them on a Tuesday morning...Wednesday morning the new unit was sitting on my front porch. It's refreshing for a company to take its warranty so seriously. I have yet to set up and run the second unit that I received but I based my five-star review almost solely on the amazing customer service. I will update this review after I set up and plug in the new unit.

The sensor that measures the ambient air temp is right above the hot exhaust air connection. The connection isn't air tight so some hot exhaust leaks out onto the sensor making it think it's hotter than it is in the room. So my product will run 24/7 on automatic unless I get something like duck tape or some kind of sealant to cover the entire exhaust connection. Even then the exhaust pipe is hot which warms the ambient air which is being sucked in right where it reads the air temp. They couldn't have placed this sensor in a worse spot. Any other spot on the unit would have been fine. Any other spot. Best spot would have been right on the front in the middle. The cold air coming out doesn't affect it and the exhaust is far from there. Other than that it works okay. Lots of cold air from it I just can't have it on auto for now till I control the exhaust. Unit is pretty noisy once ac kicks on, can hear it through my headset on my computer while playing games
