Great Support for my son after injury

My son fractured his left forearm on the play ground at school and was benched for 6 weeks. After we got the OK from the doc, he returned to the baseball field with his team. Mom was very, very concerned about him possibly aggravating his injury. I looked at this product in combination with a forearm protector and it was a hit! Our son was a little "gun shy" once he was back into the batters box, afraid that he would get hit on his arm in the fractured spot, but after we gave him this guard, it was off to the races. It fit well. The quality of the material was amazing. Well made and very durable. This will probably be apart of his equipment for the rest of this career.

First off, this is so well padded that a 40mph baseball won't hurt. My boys are absolute sluggers at kid pitch. The reason is padding. Chest padding is a must as well. Kid pitch at the 7 to 10 range is wild. Nervous kids won't swing.
The elbow pad itself is thick, well covered, easy to put on and take off, and feels like a sleeve. My 7yo was hit in the arm and it took awhile to get his confidence back, if I had this elbow pad he would of been fine. He is now far more brazen at the plate. There are cheaper pads, but they don't offer the full protection or the quick put on this does. The price is without a doubt worth te money.
The youth fits my 70Ibs 7yo and 85Ibs 9yo perfectly. Both have large arms for their size. 8.5in for the 7yo and 9.5 for the 9yo.
It's a snug elastic sleeve with velcro straps. Everything is of good durable quality.
This IS a must. An absolute must.

The Nuribase elbow guard is a quality batting guard at half the price. The elbow guard is very long and covers most of my 17year olds elbow, lower bicep, and upper forearm. The padding is very thick and provides good protection. He is very satisfied, works better than some more expensive guards he has used in the past. Overall great product. I would definitely recommend!
