I purchased this thing for a project that's not really for what its intended. I'm pumping material from an IBC Tote into another Tote, but I needed something to filter the material and this pump is doing a fantastic job. I'm really shocked at how well it's holding up. As with most pumps you do have to prime it, but it's not difficult. I really like the long power cable. Overall, this pump is great.

Using this as a pond. Great size. Great quality so far. We got it in sale 44$ on sale. For anyone wondering we got the lillipads for 21$ they arent real. I will attach an image of where we bought it on amazon.

We have a 12×20x48 pool that came with the cartridge filter pump. It seemed to work well for the first week. After that it became impossible to keep the water clear. Went thru a three pack of filters at $5 bucks each and decided there had to better a better way. We live in the South and get a ton of rain along with heat and humidity. Purchased the Evajoy, installed it and within 24hrs pool was clear. I had no missing parts. The hoses were a challenge, but a little trick..... heat them with a blow dryer for a few seconds and they will slip right on. The instructions are well written for a bargin priced item and the pump seems to be well made. The pump is very quite and works well for our size pool. I was able to pick it up with a coupon that Amazon will offer on products from time to time and delivered was only $85 which makes it an outstanding value.

I never leave reviews but I have to say I'm impressed so I have to on this one. It might help other people. And no I didn't get a pool pump in exchange for my review that's how impressed I am I'm leaving a review the old fashioned way just bc something worked well!
Ok so the $2k pentair filter broke and so did the $1k pump and the pool went to swamp green between labor and new equipment I was looking at spending thousands.
I had an idea to use a kiddie pool pump for above ground pools to save a buck!
I was about to spend 3-4 times as much or more on a sand filter and pump. The 16 inch sand filter and less powerful pump on another brand would have been over $350 but it was still cheaper than the above plan. I'm even using in my inground massive pool and not the above ground pool its actually for.
I hook up this $100 Evajoy pump and sand filter and wow I went from a green swamp pool which we were going to drain thinking that was the only option to blue. I did use 15 gallons of chlorine to shock it and many packets of shock but this filter made it all work. I can't believe how good it worked. I did a daily washing of the sand and even tried other filter media such as quilters batting. Both worked great hard to say which was more effective as they were disgusting when I cleaned them and that's a good thing. The water back into the pool was clear. Don't hesitate to buy it. Is it made as well as the other brands? No not really the plastic is cheaper and the hose is less thick but they work fine! It doesn't have a timer like the others but I have been running it 24/7 and found the timers not necessary. The other pump gets 10k reviews and this one has 23 reviews so you might think its a joke. I returned the other one it barely did anything. This Evajoy pump however really cranks and got the pool clean! It took weeks but we got there. The resulkts speak for themselves! See the photos. 5 stars for value and effectiveness. Leaks a little but for $100 and a clean massive in ground pool? It's amazing it worked at all. Impressed! Bought 2.

Took a little over an hour for three adults to assemble. Setting it up isn't hard, just awkward. The side support poles keep wanting to fall out. But as you assemble it more, they start to stay in place, and they finally do stay in place as you fill it up. Once filled all the way, the long sides do bow out quite a bit (I'm hopeful it doesn't bust outward from the water pressure).

The lining itself seems to be thick and a good quality. The ladder it comes with is absolute trash. We are currently looking for a replacement ladder because it is incredible flexible and rickety, doesn't feel safe at all for an adult to be on (I weight 195 pounds).

I had to improvise a little with the pool filter -- the instructions show three connections to the pool, but I only used two.

We've only had it for two days, still too cold to stay in it for more than a few minutes (Solar cover arrives today). I'll update as we spend more time with it.
