• •5 EASY STEPS Sand the wooden surface and wipe away any dust. Apply your stencil. Using a squeegee, apply a thin layer of Torch Paste. Ensure to remove the excess paste. Remove your stencil. Burn your design using a heat gun or another heat source.

She wanted to learn how to wood burn and also wanted to incorporate her large collection of stencils. Ann quickly discovered that a paste/gel substance was needed in order to capture the details of the designs.
