Very easy to setup with Toslink Optical in/out. I am using this with a Samsung TV from 6 years ago and a new Polk Signa S4 Soundbar. However, the mic doesn't pick up a lot of vocals and I need to crank the Soundbar volume all the way up to max and lower the music volume in the mixer, which results in some ambient hissing sounds which is not ideal. I am looking for alternative solutions e.g. plug in a wired mic with high input pickup in Mic-C but didn't find the right solution yet if you know of any please let me know!

I've bought 3 different karaoke and this one was the one that plugged straight to my AV RECEIVER! It allows my Roku to HDMI plug into karaoke receiver while HDMI plug from k receiver to my AV RECEIVER. IM so happy I finally found one that plugs straight to AV RECEIVER and is working great! It was easy to setup. People are saying the mic is low. You just have to make a few adjustments. I put optical wire from the TV to the Amp. I put the AUXILIARY wire from the Amp to the soundbar. Turn the soundbar to the auxiliary. Your voice will sound very loud. I forgot to mention this is the first ever review.
