Very handy and easy to use for bicycle wheel lacing

The media could not be loaded. Although I do not do a lot of bicycle wheel building, I decided to give this tool a try and bought it. The price was low enough to justify the purchase. I'm so glad I did! It saved me a lot of headache and made my builds go faster. Sure, you can get away without a tool like that - just use your fingers and a toothpick. However, at this price I'd rather get the tool and make my builds more enjoyable and efficient. The tool arrived very quickly and nicely packaged. There are three spring inserts to hold nipples while placing them on the spoke. That is awesome as it could be easy to loose one of them. As you can see from the video, it is very easy to assemble and once done placing nipples, the insert can be removed and the driver used to screw them further onto the spokes before you make final adjustments with a spoke wrench. The driver bit can be removed from the handle and installed into a standard electric drill. However, I would not recommend doing that as it would be much harder to control how far the nipple goes on the spoke. Overall, I would highly recommend this tool even to an occasional wheel builder.

The tool comes with 2 extra spare spring heads that are able to hold the nipple securely, easy to withdraw from the nipple, If attached to an electric screwdriver, the building wheel would become a quick job. A must if you want to build wheels.

Works well. It needs an internal storage compartment in the handle for the parts.
I didn't know a tool like this existed and I could have used it when replacing a broken spoke nut not long ago. Now I have it and I am prepared for the next time.
