The media could not be loaded. Wanted a nicer house for my betta, and was happy to find this one for such an affordable price! I added a small heater to keep the temp up, but it was otherwise super simple to set up. The color changes are fun, not sure if he likes it or not. :) Hope it keeps working well.

This 2 gallon tank is great for my new beta! The different colors are so pretty and the air and filtration is perfect. Just love it!

Easy to set up, the pump is adjustable for power, as is the air intake to make bubbles. I removed the logo on it with a little acetone and paper towel because it looked cheesy. I also added a mini heater to the chamber where water is pulled in and it fits perfectly. I wish is that the filter included a carbon filter option as well as the physical sponge filter it comes with. I feed correctly, with no waste, and algae forms pretty fast. I'm thinking i need a snail to join my betta. I have this on my desk where I work from home and it makes conference calls much less boring. Recommend!

I originally bought one on eBay but it arrived shattered so I ordered one here on Amazon and it arrived cracked. I got another one and it finally arrived safely. I was originally impressed with the overall look. After a while I noticed a few cons though. The hoses pinch when you lift the lid unless you manually move them out of the way. The light is bright but will grow algae really quickly even on a medium setting. The hood area is really bad about algae growing as it traps a lot of moisture in quite a few areas. Also the ergonomics of the tank make it a little more difficult to clean. The "filter" that it comes with is a joke. You should ditch it immediately and go with something better. Even if you upgrade depending on the type of fish I'd still recommend changing/cleaning it out 1-2 times per week. Other than those things it's an ok tank. I do wish I had gone with either a Fluval tank or one of the newer smart tanks from overseas as they both seem to have less of the issues I've noticed with this tank. Also I'd recommend going bigger if your on the fence. You most likely won't regret going bigger but you might definitely regret it if you find it's too small later. Hope this review helps.

I got this tank for my 4yr old's first fish, the tank is okay but mine came w/ a crack on the side that seemed to be filled in with glue. The filter/pump is also cheaply made and it was a little difficult to keep all pieces to stay in place, I definitely don't recommend this tank for long term use but a good start.
