The Amazon return policy is nice, the first one had display issue. Rather than replacement I opted for a repurchase. This second unit is working well. It starts up quickly and performs up to my computer requirements which is basic. I mainly got this windows OS machine for a specific app, Karafun. So basically a compact Karaoke player to take to get togethers in small settings.

The laptop was unable to download any apps, I had factory reset a few times until I got it to work. It's nice keeps the kiddos entertained. Over all ok
GATEWAY DO NOT SUPPORT THIS LAPTOP NO SOFTWARE DVD FOR IT

This item is not supported buy gateway it is considered to be a third party item,
what that means is gateway do not support the computer software in general.
also the windows 11 that came as a bonus upgrade is basically useless no start menu items a lot of the basic functionality is missing do to the fact the computer was built for a order OS, and windows 11 is not fully compatible with this laptop. it loads up fine but is not compatible a lot of core functionality is missing cause windows 11 is not meant to be on this system hence the reason GATEWAY provides zero support for the system. The only way to restore its full functionality you would have to buy a home or professional edition of windows 10 at the tune of 300 bucks pr cut corners and get a license for a downloadable free version. but windows 11 does not belong on this laptop and there is no way to get the support software from gateway to restore it back hence why I said GATEWAY DO NOT SUPPORT THIS LAPTOP
