Have a computer of system in one spot and need to hook it up to a TV or projector in another spot - and don't want to run a long HDMI cable - this is a great budget solution. It is perfet for home use.
Your range will vary, depending on placement. I'm using it in the same room to wirelessly connect a laptop to a projector. It works beautifully for my needs. Wire free and clean looking.
There is a small amount of latency (delay from the signal to the screen) which gets bigger the further away the units are. This is normal and expected (it happens even with wired connections). Just clarifying that it isn't ZERO latency like the ad describes.
If you are running your audio through the HDMI, then you won't notice it at all. If you have the audio running seperately from your main source, you may see a slight misalignment. Most people wouldn't notice. I just have my audio running straight from the receiver side to make it a non-issue.
For the price, it works exaclty as needed.
